ASTRON STRATEGIES by XiA

As with any body, the cosmic bodies and the constellations of cosmic bodies, are vessels emanated (vibrationally) downward from a source concept. These forces are alive and dynamic, and express themselves on uncountable levels. They can be experienced through specific constructs of thought, through archetypes, through the rhythmic pulses and cycles of the magnetic ocean, through aspects of the mineral, plant, and animal kingdoms, and through color, number, letter, and sound. Astrology, then, is a language of many symbol tongues.

Many do not realize that Astrology is also occulted at the deepest core of our modern English Alphabet. In fact, a good place to start exploring the true, esoteric depths of Astrology, is to familiarize yourself with each letter as both a cosmic aspect and a "building-block of Light" on Earth.

Knowing this formula provides the arrangement which underlies many occult understandings of Astrological Science:
 

I. PLANETS

There are 10 planets where occult Astrology is concerned.

Earth isn't counted among them because it is automatically the central perspective of any Astrology chart; Earth is where the point of intersection - the birth into Nature - is occurring. The examination is made from the perspective of that point on the planet, in a full 360º circle, to see the whole picture of the moment as it was expressed in that place. That point of your birth event - or any other event, in fact - is a microcosmic embodiment of that 360º cosmic picture, having been distinctly filtered through the nuances of its inherent energetic perspectives and potentials.

The Earth's two luminaries, the Sun and the Moon, are counted among the planets, however, as all planets are considered "Lights".

Seven of the Lights - Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, the Sun, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon - are called intermittent or "flashing". They correlate to the seven letters of the alphabet that are, in their origin, called "double", meaning that they are consciously creative, given to both active and passive, waxing and waning phases.

Three of the Lights - Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus - are called supercedent and essential. They correlate to the three letters of the alphabet that are, in their origin, called the "Mothers", meaning that they are super-conscious and ever-present. They provide the formula on which the building blocks are arranged.
 

II. SIGNS

There are 13 Zodiac Signs in occult Astrology. However, one is silent, internal, and unmanifest, symbolic of Absolute, Eternal Being, whereas the remaining 12 Signs represent the Becoming of Absolute Awareness.

Thus it is only the 12 constellations of the Zodiac Wheel which are known as "constant and constructive Lights" and present also as a building-block letter. These 12 letters are called "the simples" and "elemental". They are the elementary Forces which together are mystically known as The Kingdom, each being responsible for an entire expression of consciousness.

Each represents the interplay of the triplicity of the Superconscious Forces
 through the four worlds of body, energy, archetype, and concept. In traditional terminology this equates to there being a Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable Sign for each of the four basic elements of Earth, Fire, Water, and Air.

III. HOUSES

The 12 elemental Forces create the Kingdom of Experience, in which we are to become Aware. This is depicted by a 360º circle, divided into twelve, thirty-degree segments for general purposes. Each segment is called an Astrological House. And each Astrological House contains whatever is emanated into experience through one of the Zodiac filters; the complete Wheel symbolizing the whole gamut of consciousness, expressing into reality in its evolutionary precession or process of completion. So, for example, each House contains its specific spectrum of consciousness which includes an evolving expression of sound, color, geometry, symbology, archetype, biology, etc.

Houses do not represent a unique letter, but rather the field in which the letters arrange.

IV. QUADRANTS

The remaining 4 letters of the alphabet are symbolized by the cross-hair of Aims which symbolically point to the four worlds of body, spirit, soul, and mind.
